This month we’ve put our former Apprentice Chelsea Snape under the spotlight to give you an insight into life at KMB Shipping Group. Chelsea is now working with us a full-time member of staff as Sea & Air Freight Operations.
1. HOW LONG HAVE YOU WORKED AT KMB SHIPPING?
I started at KMB Shipping Group seven years ago, starting here as an Apprentice.
2. SINCE YOU’VE BEEN WORKING AT KMB SHIPPING GROUP WHAT IS THE MOST DIFFICULT CHALLENGE YOU HAVE HAD TO OVERCOME?
We have a two-hour turnaround on providing Sea & Air Frieght Quotations so I had to get up to speed as quickly as possible. Getting to grips with the Industry and its constant changes was also a challenge when I first started at KMB Shipping Group.
3. TELL ME A SUCCESS STORY TO DO WITH YOU WORKING AT KMB SHIPPING GROUP?
I love the success of a booking! Getting a job over the line and moving a Client from a Quote to a Booking is a great feeling.
4. IF YOU HAD A SUPERPOWER WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Invisibility – would love to be a fly on the wall.
